Sloan began his career at CCHA as a law clerk during law school. Following graduation, he joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Business Services and Real Estate practice groups. Sloan advises a variety of businesses, from closely held companies to multi-million dollar corporations. Sloan’s practice focuses on contract drafting and disputes, corporate formation, shareholder disputes, employment matters, business sale and purchase agreements, succession planning, real estate matters, tax matters, and trademark registration and enforcement matters.
Sloan graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, he served as the Executive Online Editor for the Indiana Law Review and was an Associate Justice for the Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition. Sloan also externed for Magistrate Judge Tim A. Baker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and was a research assistant for Dean Emeritus Andrew R. Klein. Sloan received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Purdue University Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business.
Sloan resides in Westfield with his wife, Rebecca. He and Rebecca are both die-hard Purdue sports fans and can be found at Ross-Ade Stadium and Mackey Arena from November through March each year. They are active parishioners at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers, where Sloan is a member of the parish council.
