Sloan began his career at CCHA as a law clerk during law school. Following graduation, he joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Business Services and Real Estate practice groups. Sloan’s finance background allows him to understand his clients’ needs from a business-minded perspective. Sloan advises his clients on matters related to corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, securities offerings, and tax planning.

Sloan is also part of the firm’s Appellate practice group where he spends his time utilizing the experiences he had as a competitor in the Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition, where Sloan was recognized as the highest overall scoring competitor and was the recipient of the competition’s award for the highest scoring Appellate Brief.

Sloan graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, he served on the Executive Board for the Indiana Law Review and as an Associate Justice for the Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition. Sloan also interned for Magistrate Judge Tim A. Baker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and was a research assistant for Dean Emeritus Andrew R. Klein, assisting the Dean Emeritus in drafting and editing a law review article. Sloan received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in International Business from Purdue University Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business.

Sloan resides in Westfield with his wife, Rebecca. He and Rebecca are both Boilermakers and can be found at Ross-Ade Stadium and Mackey Arena from August through March each year. They are parishioners of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers, where Sloan is a member of the parish council.
