Jane is a seasoned professional with experience in sports law, NCAA regulations, and higher education policy. Her work spans key areas such as Title IX investigations and gender equity reviews, NCAA regulatory matters, and allegations of hazing and misconduct.

Previously, Jane served as an associate director at the NCAA National Office, specializing in academic reviews and intricate pre-enrollment eligibility cases within the Eligibility Center. She primarily led the initial-eligibility waiver process, leading a team and advising member institutions from certification to appeal.

Jane began her career at the NCAA as a postgraduate intern in Enforcement, gaining hands-on experience with secondary and major infractions, including investigations and case processing. Before joining the national office, she spent two years as an assistant Division III field hockey coach at Washington and Lee University, strengthening her understanding of both campus athletics and higher education dynamics.

Jane earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she gained experience clerking for prestigious law firms in Washington, D.C., and Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While at W&L, Jane excelled as a four-year letter winner and senior captain on the field hockey team, graduating as the program leader in career goals, assists, and points.

Jane actively engages in the industry, currently chairing the Women Leader in Sports Awards Committee. She has moderated panels at key events, including the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) annual convention, and has twice keynoted the NCAA Division III Field Hockey championship banquet. Jane also is active in the community, recently joining the board of the PCDH19 Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for PCDH19 epilepsy, a rare seizure disorder. She lives in Carmel, Indiana, with her husband and two children.
