A Proven Career in NCAA Compliance and Legal Leadership:
Before joining Church Church Hittle and Antrim, Todd spent eight transformative years at the NCAA, where he was a key player on the enforcement staff. There, he investigated NCAA rule violations across all three divisions and helped shape the organization’s infractions procedures. Todd’s vast experience in NCAA compliance extends beyond investigations and legal counsel, having served as an appeals panelist for USA Basketball and working closely with the Board of Governors Student-Athlete Engagement Committee. A committed advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Todd chaired the Enforcement Inclusion Guiding Team at the NCAA and actively contributed to the LGBTQ-A+ Employee Engagement Group.
Before his NCAA career, Todd served as an attorney and Chief Compliance Officer at the Indiana Office of Inspector General and State Ethics Commission. In this role, he was an integral part of high-profile investigations into public corruption and ethics violations. Todd also has a strong academic background, having taught government and politics at Ivy Tech Community College from 2014 to 2021.
Education & Credentials:
Todd holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Taylor University. Throughout his career, Todd has continued his academic pursuits, earning a Master’s Degree from the Butler University College of Education while serving at the NCAA. Todd is also a certified mediator.
Personal Life:
Todd lives in Indianapolis with his wife and youngest child, with his son, daughter-in-law and grandchild residing nearby. In his downtime, he enjoys reading, traveling, playing tennis and starting home improvement projects with his wife.
