  • Indiana Super Lawyer Rising Star 2023-2024

For over a decade, Sam has been uniquely positioned to handle both Plaintiff and Defense matters in personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights litigation, business and contract disputes, municipality and county defense, and other complex cases. While most attorneys only work for one side, Sam has spent years representing both plaintiffs and individual and corporate defendants. Having a trial attorney with a variety of experience matters. Sam understands the playbooks, strategies, motivations, and financial limits of both sides, and because he understands the tactics, he can anticipate the opposing party’s strategies and build stronger cases for his clients than someone who has spent their career on one side.

Sam has served as lead counsel in jury trials in State and Federal courts in Indiana and Georgia. He is willing and able to take a case all the way to a verdict. He is also positioned to join ongoing cases as trial counsel.

Sam has experience in high-stakes litigation including:

  • Catastrophic Injury and Fatality Truck Accidents (Commercial Vehicle Claims)
  • Wrongful Death Claims
  • Dram Shop
  • Negligent Security
  • Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injuries
  • Multi-Million-Dollar Fraud Litigation
  • Business and Contract Disputes
  • Civil Rights Litigation
  • Construction Litigation
  • School Law

Sam came to CCHA from a highly respected civil litigation law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, where he previously defended clients in trucking/transportation defense, premises liability, and insurance coverage disputes. Now, Sam puts that inside knowledge to work for his clients throughout the Hoosier State. Although he lives in Noblesville and is based out of CCHA’s Fishers office, Sam represents clients throughout Indiana.

Sam’s commitment to his clients is rooted in his dedication to service and ethical, results-driven advocacy.

A native of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Sam graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2014, where he was recognized for outstanding legal writing and scholarship.

Away from the office, Sam enjoys life with his wife, Kimberly, and their three daughters, Lillian, Gwyneth Jane, and Maggie. A proud Georgia native, he also enjoys playing golf and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
