Emily concentrates her practice on family law, which paired with a background in business litigation, equips her to meet client needs ranging from custody arrangements to complex disputed asset division. She also practices in the area of criminal defense and has experience assisting clients with a wide variety of criminal matters, including white collar crimes. She is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before Indiana state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Emily is a native of Hamilton County, Indiana, graduating from Carmel High School in 2009. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana in 2013 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Justice Studies. While at Saint Mary’s, Emily studied abroad in Rome and served the State of Indiana as a Princess in the 2012 500 Festival Princess Program. Emily graduated from IU McKinney School of Law with a J.D. in 2016. During her time at McKinney, Emily served as Vice President of the Saint Thomas More Society and wrote for the Indiana Law Review.
Emily resides outside of Sheridan on a farm with her husband, Trent, and their children, where she enjoys growing flowers. She is an avid Notre Dame Football fan. Emily recently completed a three-year term as a board member of Adoptions of Indiana and enjoys volunteering in her community.
