Caroline is an Associate in the firm’s School Law Practice, where she advises school districts across Indiana on a wide range of legal and policy matters. Her practice includes issues involving constitutional and civil rights, special education, student discipline, and employment law. In addition to serving as general counsel to school boards, Caroline defends educational institutions in federal and state litigation and in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR), and other administrative agencies.

A native of Indianapolis’ west side, Caroline is a proud graduate of Ben Davis High School. She earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Indiana University, with minors in education policy and sociology. While at I.U., she volunteered as a mentor for youth in juvenile correctional facilities throughout the state.

Caroline graduated summa cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, she served as both a Guardian ad Litem and Court Appointed Special Advocate and was an active participant in Moot Court.

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her husband, Bram, and their golden retriever, Snow.
