MacKenzie is an Associate Attorney in CCHA’s School Law and Litigation practice groups. She assists clients with a range of legal matters, including compliance, investigations, and litigation support. MacKenzie brings valuable experience from both the public and private sectors, having previously worked as a complaint investigator for the Indiana Department of Education and as an associate attorney in private practice handling employment, education, and general litigation matters.
Originally from northern Indiana, MacKenzie now lives in Zionsville with her husband, daughter, and two Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs from Purdue University and her Juris Doctor from IU McKinney School of Law, where she served as Senior Executive Editor of the Indiana Law Review and was a member of the Women in the Law Division.
MacKenzie currently volunteers as a guardian ad litem with Kids’ Voice. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Yankees and Boilermakers, attending concerts, reading, and spending time with her family.
