Betsy, a Lake County native and fourth-generation attorney, is an experienced Indiana school attorney who advises school districts on a wide range of education and employment law matters. Her practice includes representing schools in state and federal litigation as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and Office for Civil Rights (OCR). Betsy regularly consults with clients on student discipline, employee issues, FMLA and sick leave, restraint and seclusion, and special education law. Julia focuses her legal practice on supporting schools and businesses, drawing on more than two decades of leadership in education law and public service. A Noblesville native and proud alumna of Noblesville High School, Julia served for over 12 years on the Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees, making her one of the longest-serving members in district history. Deeply engaged in Indiana’s education landscape, Julia has served as Region 5 Director for the Indiana School Board Association, contributed to the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation, and continues to advocate for schools through community and state leadership roles. Julia is also a Jeopardy! champion, a graduate of Indiana University and Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and remains actively involved in local civic and educational organizations.
