Looking back on 2022, Church Church Hittle and Antrim (CCHA Law) has much to celebrate after a tremendous year of growth and recognition for our talented team. CCHA Law is proud to have served clients and our community for over 100 years, and 2022 was no exception. We want to take the time to reflect on highlights over the past year and shine a light on some of the exceptional attorneys who elevate our field and continue to make CCHA Law our community’s partner in trusted legal advice.

2022 Awards and Recognitions

Many of our talented CCHA Law attorneys and staff received the honor of being recognized for their expertise in 2022. Through statewide and national awards, CCHA Law attorneys received the following awards in 2022:

  • Marianne Garrard, Litigation Coordinator for the School Law practice group at CCHA Law, was named as one of Indiana Lawyer’s 2022 Legal Support Stars. Legal Support Stars are recognized as those who enhance the practice of law through their work as paralegals or other legal support staff. Read more here.
  • Julie Roe Lach, CCHA Law Of Counsel Attorney and Horizon League Commissioner, was named to IBJ Media's inaugural Indiana 250, a list of the state’s most influential and impactful business and community leaders, representing public and private companies, law firms, universities, non-profits, government and community organizations.
  • Julie Roe Lach was also named a Nike Executive of the Year by Women Leaders in College Sports. The Executive of the Year Award is presented to Women Leaders in College Sports members for significant contributions made as a senior-level administrator of intercollegiate athletics across several divisions.   • Jessica Williams Schnelker was recognized in the Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA) Class of 2022. HCLA is a leadership development program that identifies and prepares informed leaders for our community. Read more here.
  • Andrew Manna was named Officer to the Council of School Attorneys (COSA). He will take on the role of Secretary for the seven-year commitment. Following his run as Secretary, then Vice-Chair, then Chair-Elect, he will serve as the Chair of the COSA Board. Read more here.
CCHA Law Celebrates

Growth and Expansion

2022 was a year of growth for CCHA Law. Through an office expansion and the addition of new attorneys to the Firm, we were able to serve our growing client base and continue our commitment to the community.

  • In September 2022, CCHA Law doubled the office space in the Fishers office on Lantern Road. Read more about our new office expansion and celebration here.
  • CCHA Law also welcomed Matt Banker, advisor to the CCHA Sports Law practice group. Read more here.
  • This year, CCHA Law welcomed six new attorneys to the Firm:
    • Cassie Heeke, Associate in the Litigation practice section
    • Julia Kozicki, Of Counsel in the Business Services practice section
    • Hannah Gahimer, Associate in the Employer Litigation practice section
    • Peter Hutson, Associate in the Business Services practice section
    • Sloan Schafer, Associate in the Business Services practice section
    • James Nussbaum, Partner in the Higher Education and Sports Law practice sections.
