CCHA Of Counsel Attorney and Horizon League Commissioner Julie Roe Lach has been named to IBJ Media's inaugural Indiana 250, a list of the state’s most influential and impactful business and community leaders, representing public and private companies, law firms, universities, non-profits, government and community organizations.
The Indiana 250 was developed and published by IBJ Media, the parent company of three news brands—Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business and Indiana Lawyer, whose news leaders and staffs contributed to the selections. IBJ Media accepted nominations for inclusion on the list, researched executives and companies, and interviewed state, industry and community leaders about who should be included. But in the end, the selections were made entirely by IBJ Media editors and staff, meaning it is subjective and not comprehensive. Roe was selected for the Hospitality, Entertainment & Arts category of recipients.
“The leaders included on the Indiana 250 have made significant contributions in their communities, across their regions and to the state and nation,” said IBJ Media CEO Nate Feltman. “But the Indiana 250 is more than a directory or an honor roll,” he said. “It’s a way to help Hoosiers in one part of the state learn about leaders and organizations in other areas of the state. We hope the Indiana 250 will create a bond between influential Hoosiers and help them work together toward a stronger Indiana.”
Roe Lach joined CCHA in November 2016 in the Of Counsel role with the Sports Law practice. She is also Managing Partner at CCHA Collegiate, a CCHA affiliated entity that services clients in various NCAA compliance matters and provides strategic advising and consultative services for institutions and conferences. She has been involved in college athletics for over 20 years and is in her third year as Commissioner for the Horizon League.
Julie, we congratulate you on this great, deserved honor and are thankful to work alongside you each and every day!
