Church Church Hittle and Antrim (CCHA Law) is pleased to announce that Jodie Ferise, EdD, JD, has joined the firm’s Higher Education Practice. With over 20 years of experience in higher education as a general counsel, lobbyist, professor, and college administrator, Jodie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm.
Jodie’s
impressive career includes her appointment by Governor Holcomb to the Midwest
Higher Education Commission in 2023, a testament to her leadership and
commitment to advancing higher education. Additionally, she has served on the Indiana
Commission for Higher Education’s Partnership Pentagon, further demonstrating
her dedication to fostering educational partnerships and policy development.
Her
academic credentials include a Doctor of Education from the University of
Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor from Indiana University McKinney School of Law,
and a Bachelor of Science from Butler University. Jodie has taught in India,
China, and Ghana and has presented both domestically and internationally on
numerous occasions, bringing a global perspective to her work in higher
education.

Outside
of her professional life, Jodie enjoys traveling, reading, attending outdoor
concerts, and spending time with her brand-new granddaughter, Crosby, who is
also her namesake.
Jodie’s
role at CCHA Law will involve advising higher education clients on a wide range
of legal matters, ensuring that institutions are well-equipped to navigate the
ever-evolving landscape of education law. Her diverse experiences and global
outlook further enrich her approach to the complex challenges faced by today’s
colleges and universities.
