Church Church Hittle and Antrim (CCHA Law) is pleased to announce that Pamela “Pam” Schneeman has joined the firm’s Litigation team, bringing more than 25 years of legal experience representing government entities, public officials, public employees, and businesses in complex litigation matters.

Schneeman’s practice includes civil rights and state law tort claims involving public entities and officials; police and jail officer misconduct claims; First Amendment matters; employment disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment; and personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death claims.

Throughout her career, Schneeman has developed extensive experience in both state and federal courts. Early in her career, she worked for the Indiana House of Representatives and served as an Indiana Governor’s Fellow. After law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas G. Fisher of the Indiana Tax Court.

Schneeman later practiced in the state and local tax department of a large Indianapolis law firm, handling administrative property tax appeals, matters before the Indiana Department of Revenue, and cases before the Indiana Tax Court. In 1998, she expanded her practice to include government tort liability, federal civil rights litigation under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and employment discrimination matters.

From 2005 to 2013, Schneeman served as a staff attorney and courtroom deputy clerk for the Honorable Sarah Evans Barker of the U.S. District Court. She later served as Deputy Chief of Litigation for the City of Indianapolis from 2013 through 2017. She then returned to private practice, where she continued representing governmental entities, public officials, employees and businesses in complex litigation matters before joining CCHA Law.

“We are so delighted to welcome Pam to CCHA. Her career spans public service and private practice, and she brings a wealth of litigation experience and a valuable perspective to our firm. We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to the knowledge and insight she will share with our colleagues and clients,” said CCHA Law Managing Partner Jenni Hughes.

Schneeman has successfully defended government and business clients in jury trials in both state and federal court and has prosecuted employment matters before police merit boards. She is also a frequent presenter at training sessions conducted by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association.

Schneeman earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. She is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Association.
