Summertime is in full effect and there’s no better time to be a kid. One community partner we are proud to highlight during the prime of summer and otherwise is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, an organization committed to our communities’ children and their families.

CCHA Cares July 2021 Big Brothers Big Sisters central indiana TW

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana serves more than 1,200 youth annually, from ages 8-18, in Hamilton, Johnson, and Marion counties. They partner with parents/caregivers, volunteers, schools, and the donors in our community to defend, ignite, and empower the potential of every child we serve. Their mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Their vision is that all youth achieve their full potential. For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the potential to succeed and thrive in life.

They treat parents as valued partners and consider it an honor to be a part of childrens’ families. Volunteers are also invaluable and their experience should be impactful, rewarding, and fun. Every gift matters and their donors deserve to be informed, understand the impact of their gifts, and have opportunities to engage with them. Their staff and Board are the foundation to success, so they engage and develop the most committed, talented, and action-oriented leaders.

CCHA implores our connections to volunteer with this organization, and share your time as a Big.
