Church Church Hittle and Antrim (CCHA Law) is pleased to welcome MacKenzie Watson as an associate attorney. MacKenzie joins the firm’s Litigation and K-12 School and Education Law practice groups, bringing a strong foundation in education law, compliance, and civil litigation. CCHA Law proudly serves more than 150 public school corporations across the state of Indiana, and MacKenzie’s experience will further strengthen the firm’s commitment to these clients.

Prior to joining CCHA Law, MacKenzie served as a Complaint Investigator with the Indiana Department of Education, where she investigated matters related to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), monitored compliance with corrective actions, and helped revise state regulations tied to special education law.
Earlier in her career, MacKenzie worked as an associate attorney at an Indianapolis law firm focusing on labor and employment law, litigation, and equal employment matters. MacKenzie’s legal background is also informed by her earlier work as a Primary Life Skills Teacher, giving her valuable, firsthand experience in the classroom.
MacKenzie earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University McKinney School of Law, where she served as Senior Executive Editor of the Indiana Law Review and was active in the Women in the Law Division. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs from Purdue University.
She is admitted to practice in Indiana, as well as in the Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. MacKenzie currently serves as Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Council and volunteers as a guardian ad litem with Kids’ Voice.
Originally from northern Indiana, MacKenzie now lives in Zionsville with her husband, daughter, and two Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. Outside of her legal work, she enjoys cheering on the Yankees and Boilermakers, attending concerts, reading, and spending time with her family.
