CCHA Law Proudly Supports Student Impact of Westfield

Church Church Hittle and Antrim (CCHA Law) was proud to support Student Impact of Westfield as a financial sponsor at this year's Polo at Sunset, an annual community event that brings together local leaders, businesses and families to raise critical funds for one of Westfield's most impactful youth organizations.

A Signature Event

Held at Hickory Hall Polo Club in Whitestown on July 3, Polo at Sunset offered attendees an unforgettable evening of polo, food, entertainment and community fellowship while shining a spotlight on Student Impact's mission of empowering local students through inspiring relationships and safe, welcoming programming. The event serves as one of the organization's signature fundraisers, helping ensure its programs remain accessible to thousands of young people throughout the Westfield community.

Support Through the Years

CCHA Law attorney, Eric Douthit, attended this year’s event, though his connection to Student Impact of Westfield extends well beyond this year's sponsorship.

"I've had the privilege of being involved with Student Impact of Westfield for many years," Douthit said. "I previously served as a board member and now support the organization as its legal counsel. Throughout that time, I've seen firsthand the incredible difference Student Impact makes in the lives of local students and families, which has made it especially rewarding to stay connected to its mission."

Growth Opportunities at Low-to-No Cost

Founded in 1999, Student Impact of Westfield exists to empower students in grades 6-12 through meaningful connections in a safe and consistent environment where they can grow in confidence and develop leadership skills. Today, approximately 90% of its programming is offered at no cost to families, allowing hundreds of students each year to participate in after-school activities, mentoring opportunities, leadership development, small groups and community-building events. The organization operates from The Rock, its youth center located near Westfield schools, where students can build friendships, connect with caring adult mentors and enjoy meals, recreational activities and personal growth opportunities.

Natural Alignment

Supporting organizations like Student Impact aligns naturally with CCHA Law's longstanding commitment to strengthening the communities it serves throughout Indiana.

"At CCHA, we are passionate about making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work," Douthit said. "Student Impact of Westfield exemplifies that same commitment by providing opportunities, support and encouragement to local youth. Partnering with an organization that invests so deeply in the future of our community is something we are proud to support, and it aligns perfectly with our values."

For Douthit, Student Impact's mission is also deeply personal. "My favorite part of Student Impact is seeing the lasting effect it has on young people," he said. "My own children participated in its programs, so I've experienced firsthand the positive influence the organization has on students and families. It's inspiring to see the relationships, opportunities and support Student Impact provides, and I believe its work is truly invaluable to the Westfield community."

That sense of community was on full display during Polo at Sunset. "I had the pleasure of attending the Polo at Sunset event as a spectator, and it was an outstanding evening," Douthit said. "The event brought together community members, supporters and advocates for Student Impact's mission in a fun and engaging way. It was exciting to see such strong support for the organization, and the event did a wonderful job of highlighting the important work Student Impact continues to do throughout the community."

Looking Forward to Fall

As Student Impact continues to expand its reach, CCHA Law looks forward to remaining an active supporter of its mission. Douthit is already anticipating the organization's next major fundraising event.

"I'm looking forward to attending Black-Tie Bingo this October and supporting Student Impact of Westfield alongside many other community partners and supporters," he said. "I'm excited to participate and help celebrate an organization that continues to make such a positive difference in the lives of local students and their families."

Through financial support, volunteer leadership and ongoing community partnerships, CCHA Law remains committed to investing in organizations that create lasting change. Student Impact of Westfield continues to be a powerful example of how encouragement and opportunity can transform the lives of young people, one student at a time.
