Shyann was first acquainted with CCHA when she participated in the firm’s summer clerkship program after her first year of law school. Now, she practices as an associate attorney in the Noblesville office with her primary practice area in education law. As part of the firm’s School Law team, she advises school districts around the state on matters regarding law and policy, including constitutional and civil rights allegations and special education issues under the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Shyann graduated cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Ball State University with majors in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, and Pre-law and with a minor in Social Work. While at Ball State University, Shyann also participated on and was President of the Ball State Women’s Bowling Team.

Outside of the practice of law, Shyann enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her grandparents who she spends much of her time with. She was born into a drag racing family which means you will likely find her at a racetrack somewhere in the Midwest during the summer weekends.
