CCHA Law’s Julia Church Kozicki Named Noblesville’s Woman of Impact

Church Church Hittle and Antrim (CCHA Law) is pleased to highlight CCHA Law attorney Julia Church Kozicki, who was recently recognized for her outstanding community work and leadership in Noblesville. The Noblesville Chamber of Commerce along with the Women in Noblesville (WIN) selected Julia as the recipient of the 2023 Woman of Impact Award.

The Woman of Impact Award was established by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and Women of Noblesville (WIN) to recognize women who are positively impacting the Noblesville community through stewardship, service, leadership, and compassion. This award was created to celebrate the extraordinary excellence of women contributing to the community. Julia was presented with this year’s Woman of Impact award at the Women’s Leadership Award Luncheon at Mustard Seed Gardens on August 23, 2023.

“Julia has been a longtime champion for Noblesville,” said CCHA Law colleague Rachel Woloshin. “Year after year, Julia gives so much of her time and talent to this community. She is passionate about preserving its historical heritage and maintaining a quality of life for its residents. Her stewardship, service, leadership, and compassion have undoubtedly made a positive impact on Noblesville.”

The Woman of Impact award recognizes a woman who tirelessly serves those in her community, passionately moves the Noblesville community forward, and is an exemplary steward within the community. In a video introducing Julia as the Woman of Impact recipient, the Chamber of Commerce said, “Julia has continuously devoted her time and talents to the benefit of our Noblesville community. A dedicated volunteer, friend, and impactful leader, she focused her practice in supporting businesses and schools. She is a Noblesville native, a Jeopardy champion, and a graduate of Noblesville High School.”

An involved and dedicated Noblesville community member, Julia was elected to the Noblesville Schools Board of School Trustees in May 2006 and re-elected in May 2010 and November 2014, with her 12 1/2 years the second longest tenure in board history. She was named one of 25 Noble Millers for the Noblesville Schools 150th Anniversary, served as the Region 5 director for the Indiana School Board Association, and served six years on the board of the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation.

Julia has also served as a three-time chair of the Corporate Counsel section of the Indiana State Bar Association, past president of the Noblesville Beta Epsilon chapter of Tri Kappa, served on the Conner Prairie Museum board of trustees, and sat on multiple committees for her church, the Noblesville First United Methodist Church. Julia has demonstrated service and leadership during her participation in the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series (Class of 2009) and Hamilton County Leadership Academy (Class of 2003). She was awarded HCLA Alumnae of the Year in 2009, served as the HCLA board president in 2007, and was dean of the HCLA 2010-2011 class. Julia is also very involved in the Lions Club and was recently elected as the Lions Club District Governor after serving in numerous leadership positions for the Lions Club of Noblesville.

“Your contributions have made a real difference in your club and in your community,” wrote Lions Club International President, Dr. Patti Hill, in a letter she wrote to Julia sharing her congratulations. “Your kindness is not only changing lives - it is inspiring others to do the same, and your dedication ensures that many more lives will be positively impacted in the years to come.”

Colleagues at CCHA Law nominated Julia for this award and are very proud that she rose to the top and was selected for this honor. She is an outstanding leader out in the community and within our office.
