About Séamus

Séamus is a partner with Church Church Hittle + Antrim where he has a law practice representing schools and educational entities. Séamus has the Martindale-Hubbell attorney rating of AV Preeminent indicating the highest level of professional excellence. Since 2011, Séamus has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by the Super Lawyers publication in the practice area of Schools and Education. In 2011, the Indianapolis Star distinguished him as a "Rising Star" for his work as an education lawyer. In addition, the Indianapolis Business Journal's Indiana Lawyer identified Séamus as an "Up & Coming Lawyer" for Indiana. He has served on the Board of the National School Boards Association’s Council of School Attorneys (COSA). Séamus is admitted to practice law before the courts of Indiana and has briefed a case before the Supreme Court of the United States. Séamus is active in the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Bar Foundation where he has served on the respective governing boards. He helps with the State Bar’s Leadership Development Academy and Foundation’s We The People program. Séamus is a frequent presenter, writer and contributor for many education-related professional associations.

Séamus is an alumnus of Wabash College and is on the Board of the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men. While at Wabash, he became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and Sphinx Club. He also studied abroad at the National University of Ireland. Following Wabash, Séamus attended the University of New Hampshire School of Law where he concurrently earned both a law degree and masters in education law. He received the award for the student who best demonstrates both scholarship and leadership. Séamus was born and raised in Indianapolis. He resides in Hamilton County, Indiana with his wife, Erin, who is a school teacher for students with special needs. They have two daughters: Lena and Nellie.
