About Melissa

Melissa is an associate attorney with Church Church Hittle + Antrim. She started with the firm in January, 2012 and has based her practice primarily in Tipton County. She is a graduate of Tipton High School, her son is a current Tipton High School student, and her parents continue to live and work in Tipton County. She received her undergraduate degree at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and her J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law. Her practice covers a wide range of substantive law areas from civil litigation to probate matters and she is the epitome of a “county seat” law practitioner. In addition to her civil practice, Melissa has served as Assistant Attorney to the Town of Atlanta since June, 2013.  Melissa’s genuine compassion for her clients combined with her strong work ethic translate to efficient and effective results for all she serves.

Prior to joining the firm, Melissa lived in Chicago, Illinois and volunteered for various local organizations including Chicago Public Schools and PAWS Chicago No-Kill Animal Shelter. She continues her civil service in Tipton, Indiana by chairing the Tipton Community Schools Planetarium Committee, a fundraising committee for the revitalization of the school’s full-domed planetarium facility. Melissa is also a member of the Lapel Community Band of Lapel, Indiana.

Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys traveling with her family, hiking, camping, playing flute and piccolo for the Lapel Community Band, and supporting her son at his high school band and sporting events.
