Ian is a partner in CCHA’s Business Services and Litigation practice groups. He advises businesses on a variety of corporate and commercial matters including business creation, mergers and acquisitions, day-to-day legal counseling and advisory services. Ian also has expertise in technology law including vendor contracts, software as a service (SaaS), data privacy and artificial intelligence.

Ian is also an experienced litigator and trial attorney. He has represented clients in business disputes insurance disputes as well as civil rights and criminal matters.

Ian is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, having served as the Secretary of its Board of Directors and as a member of several sections and committees. He is a Distinguished Fellow and graduate of the Bar Leader Series. Ian performs pro bono services for Indiana Legal Services and the District Court for the Southern District of Indiana as well as for political organizations.

Aside from work, Ian is passionate about Arsenal Football Club, the Pacers, music (ask him to see his annual favorite albums list) and books. He’s also pretty fond of his two children.
