Leslie became a part of CCHA Law in 1992, bringing a wealth of experience to the firm. Before joining us, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Patrick Endsley, Magistrate Judge, and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
A seasoned civil litigator and a certified family law specialist recognized by the Family Law Certification Board, Leslie has an impressive track record. She actively contributes to legal initiatives, serving on the Indiana Supreme Court Innovation Initiative Task Force. Beyond that, Leslie holds the title of Past-President of the Indiana State Bar Association and is involved in various capacities, including chairing the Nominating Committee, the Board of Governors, and having been the former Chair of the Membership and Membership Benefits Committee and the Women in Law Committee. Her contributions extend to the Budget and Finance Committee, House of Delegates, and participation in the Mentor Match program. Furthermore, she is a Board Member and fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation and an Ex Officio member of the Indiana University McKinney School of Law Board of Visitors.
In her litigation practice, Leslie specializes in navigating the complexities of preserving and dividing businesses, farms, and other substantial assets of self-employed and high net worth individuals. This includes addressing intricacies related to pension and retirement plans, as well as executive compensation packages involving deferred income such as stock unit awards, restricted stock, and stock options. Leslie also excels in assisting clients with interstate custody and jurisdiction issues. Notably, in 2017, Leslie was a candidate and semi-finalist in the Judicial Nominating Commission’s interviews to select the 110th Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Leslie's outstanding career has earned her numerous honors, awards, and recognitions, including IBJ’s 2019 Women of Influence and HCLA’s 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award, among others.
Jenni joined CCHA Law in October 2009, dedicating her practice to family law with a specific focus on property division, complex financial and valuation issues, parenting time, and child support. Jenni’s practice focuses on strategy for clients in the equitable division of property while protecting assets. She also routinely assists clients with the drafting, negotiation, and execution of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She is an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Hamilton County Bar Association, and Boone County Bar Association. Additionally, Jenni is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
In 2005, Jenni earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. During her time at DePaul, she not only graduated with a Certificate in Family Law but also demonstrated her commitment to public interest law as a member of the Public Interest Law Association. Furthermore, she was selected to receive a PILA grant for her completion of legal services as a 711 student-attorney at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
Jenni’s extensive experience and legal expertise in family law make her a trusted advocate for clients facing complex issues in their family matters, including business valuations, analysis of benefits and compensation, the division and distribution of property and assets, and child custody.
Emily joined CCHA Law in 2021, where her legal focus lies in family law. With a background in family law and business litigation, she brings a unique skill set to address diverse client needs, spanning from custody arrangements to navigating complex disputed asset divisions. Emily is also a licensed domestic relations mediator, making her a solution-oriented advocate who seeks creative solutions.
A member of both the Indiana Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Association, Emily is admitted to practice before Indiana state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
A native of Hamilton County, Indiana, Emily graduated from Carmel High School in 2009. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, earning a B.A. in History with a minor in Justice Studies in 2013. Emily continued her academic journey at IU McKinney School of Law, obtaining her J.D. in 2016. While at McKinney, she served as Vice President of the Saint Thomas More Society and contributed as a writer for the Indiana Law Review. Emily's well-rounded background positions her as a knowledgeable and capable advocate for clients seeking assistance with family law, criminal defense, and beyond.
Steven David joined Church Church Hittle + Antrim in February of 2023. Steven contributes firm wide, particularly in the Mediation, Appellate, and Litigation, including Family and Business law practice groups. In 2010, Justice David took the Oath of Office as Indiana’s 106th Supreme Court Justice. He served on the Indiana Supreme Court from October 2010 until August of 2022. His long-established and multi-faceted career also included twelve years as the Judge of the Boone County Circuit Court presiding over civil, family, criminal and juvenile cases. Steven also brings to the firm his twenty-eight years of Military service as a distinguished soldier, leader and lawyer, six years of corporate practice, as well as private practice experience.
Steven offers clients and fellow Indiana attorneys a wide range of alternative dispute resolution options, including serving as a mediator and a private judge. Steven also serves as an advocate for clients in many other areas including civil litigation and business disputes.
