CCHACares: CCHA Gets Into Holiday Spirit at Noblesville Youth Assistance Program's "Stuff Your Stocking"

Nothing puts us in the holiday spirit quite like the downtown Noblesville Courthouse Square in December -- home of our Noblesville office. Recently, we were proud to be a part of Noblesville Youth Assistance Program's Stuff Your Stocking event -- this year, acting as elves at the stocking pick-up site. Each year, Stuff Your Stocking generates engagement of all ages, and encourages participants to visit businesses around the square to fill a pre-purchased stocking with treats, toys and ornaments provided by downtown merchants.
It’s an initiative CCHA is happy to participate in each year, as it encourages shopping and supporting local business here in Noblesville. For those who may be less-familiar with the area, Courthouse Square was completed in 1879 and is a delightful mix of new and old. Main Street is bustling with some great restaurants, as well as other interesting stores and services. Funds raised from the event will help the organization provide holiday assistance to the families they work with in the Noblesville community.
“This is always an enjoyable event for CCHA to be apart of as it kicks off the holiday season. This year, it corresponded with First Friday and the lights at Seminary Park,” said CCHA Partner Kelleigh Fagan. “Not only do we enjoy working the event and helping host as the starting point, kids in many of CCHA’s families love filling their stockings each year!”
Noblesville Youth Assistance Program (NYAP) was formed in 2012 to help strengthen youth and families through community involvement. Like other peer Youth Assistance Programs throughout Hamilton County, local volunteers develop and provide access to programs and services that promote positive growth experiences and enhance home and community relationships. NYAP works in collaboration with the Noblesville School District, City of Noblesville, and the Hamilton County Superior Court, and is one of six offices serving students and their families in Hamilton County, Indiana.
NYAP provides professional coordination of services and referral services to students and families of the Noblesville School District. Casework services to our families are completely confidential. Kids and families are often referred to our services by the schools, police, and court officials.
