The We The People is program designed to promote civic competence and responsibility among the nation's elementary, middle and high school students through an instructional component focused on enhancing students' understanding of the institutions of American constitutional democracy and discovering the contemporary relevance of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Séamus has been a steadfast champion of the We The People program and we are extremely proud of both this recognition and of his continuing efforts to support civic educational opportunities in schools throughout the state.
