Leslie Craig Henderzahs was awarded the Indiana Lawyer’s Distinguished Barrister award as part of the 2023 class of Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law Awards. The prestigious Distinguished Barrister Award is presented to candidates who have a long record of service, have an exemplary standing, and have made exceptional contributions to the Indianapolis legal community.
Julia Church Kozicki received the 2023 Woman of Impact Award in recognition for her outstanding community work and leadership in Noblesville by The Noblesville Chamber of Commerce along with the Women in Noblesville (WIN).
Steven David was awarded the Diversity in Law Award by The Indiana Lawyer for his efforts to diversify the legal profession across the state. The award recognized men and women who are leading the way in their efforts and making the largest impact throughout Indiana.
Kelleigh Irwin Fagan was named one of Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in the Class of 2023. The Forty Under 40 recognizes the top professional leaders in Indianapolis who have achieved success and excelled in their field before the age of 40.
James Nussbaum was recognized as one of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation’s 2023 Distinguished Fellows. The Indianapolis Bar Foundation honors outstanding lawyers each year who have dedicated their work to the legal profession, working together to advance justice and lead positive change through the Distinguished Fellow awards.
Doug Church was recognized by Nickel Plate Arts with their 2023 Arts Patron of the Year Award for his extensive efforts to support the arts in Hamilton County. The Arts Patron of the Year Award distinguishes people who publicly support and invest in the arts.
Julie Roe Lach was named to IBJ's 2023 Indiana 250 List, a list of the state’s most influential and impactful business and community leaders, representing public and private companies, law firms, universities, non-profits, and government and community organizations.
Julia Church Kozicki was elected the Lions Club District Governor at the 105th Lions Club International Convention and was recognized for her commitment and leadership to the Lions Club.
Andrew Manna was awarded the Lionel Dubay Youth Sports Award by the Community Foundation of Boone County for his ongoing commitment to Zionsville youth sports and the Boone County Mentoring Program.
CCHA Law was honored with the Business of the Year finalist award by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce. CCHA Law was proud to be among Individuals and businesses who were recognized for making impactful contributions to advancing the city’s success.
CCHA Law was awarded the Governor’s Century Award, presented by Governor Eric J. Holcomb at this year’s Governor Century and Half Century Awards Ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse. This award is given to companies in recognition of the company’s longevity and service to its employees, community, and the state for at least 100 years.
In the year 2023, CCHA Law experienced significant growth. We merged with Burrus & Sease in Zionsville, expanding our presence and services in Boone County, and welcomed talented new attorneys to our team. As a result, we were able to better serve our expanding client base while remaining committed to the community.
In January 2023, CCHA Law expanded its Zionsville footprint through a merger with Burrus & Sease, welcoming Roger Burrus and Beth Sease as Of Counsel with CCHA Law. Read more about our exciting merge and celebration here.
CCHA Law announced the launch of an expanded Higher Education practice group that brought together experienced attorneys to serve institutions in a wide variety of legal matters in 2023.
