Mark has been a practicing attorney in Lake County, Indiana for over 40 years. He started in a General Practice and now specializes in Wills, Trusts and Probate areas. He was a past member of the Lake County Bar Association Board of Directors, serving as Vice President.
Mark has a special interest in public education having been elected and re-elected to the Merrillville Community Board of Trustees, serving for 30 years. He has served as President for numerous years, as well as other offices.
Over the years he has served on the Board of the United Way, Indiana University Northwest President's Council, Innsbrook Country Club, Bank One and University Club.
Mark also coached soccer, softball and basketball in the Merrillville community for many years, as well as performing legal work for the Merrillville Youth Soccer League and Merrillville Girls Softball.
He has been married to Barbara Lucas for 41 years and has 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
