Prevail understands that just as every person’s situation and story is unique, there is no one path that fits everyone. They know firsthand that getting out of a bad situation can be tricky, with their 24-hour crisis line as a resource for those who need it, any time, any day, no questions asked.

Their work is holistic, not just with the individual experiencing the abuse, but also with their family. Advocates work with children who have witnessed or experienced trauma. Prevail also offers support for non-offending parents/guardians whose children have experienced trauma.

When it’s time for a fresh start, Prevail is there with additional assets, helping provide assistance to find housing, employment, food transportation, budget planning and more. Additionally, they work hand-in-hand with the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office and other court entities to help navigate the legal aspects of these situations. Prevail will also soon be featured in Indianapolis Monthly (in the ad above), as a demonstration of our support of the organization and their commendable work.
