By now, you likely know just how much CCHA appreciates the hard work done by our local education foundations. This certainly includes the fine team over at the Hamilton Southeastern Education (HSEF), who CCHA is excited to spotlight in our first #CCHACares feature of 2021.

HSEF was formed in 2001 to benefit every student, every grade, every school within HSE Schools. Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation is rooted in innovation and the mission to bring the next best practices in education home to local students and teachers. Perhaps above all, their team is proud of the impact their strong schools have made on the greater Fishers community. Through numerous fund-raising activities, HSEF has awarded over $1.5 million in staff and student-led grants and scholarships since its inception.

Their mission is to enhance educational opportunities, inspire excellence and engage the community to foster a legacy of achievement — a mission CCHA is proud to help support each and every day.

CCHA is proud to have launched HSEF’s annual Civics Education Fund in 2015. These funds are restricted to supporting education related to government, law, and citizenships. Additionally, we are glad to have helped enhance education, inspire excellence, and leave a legacy of support. CCHA’s Greg Schrage is the Treasurer on the HSEF Board of Directors.

We are also excited to share details about an upcoming, virtual event you can support. Back for its 9th season, HSEF’s Game Day returns on Friday, February 19, 2021 as they host a fun, interactive virtual Trivia Competition. Game Day is the largest annual district fundraising event for all 22 Hamilton Southeastern schools and annually provides a way for the entire community to support local schools. If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate, please click here.

CCHA looks forward to supporting HSEF during all of 2021 and thereafter. We are thankful for their work and support and encourage you to become involved with the organization if you seek ways to connect to your local community.
