Adoption is a topic near and dear to many hearts at CCHA. With so many children waiting on a loving home, we stand beside any organization committed to bringing families together. In fact, in 2021, more than 1,861 children have been adopted in the state of Indiana, according to the Indiana Department of Child Services.

Adoptions of Indiana is a full service adoption agency, providing services such as adoptive preparation/home studies, adoptive education, matching, placement, post-placement supervision, ongoing adoption education and support to adoptive families, adoption options counseling to expectant parents, pre- and post- placement counseling and support services to birth families, search and reconnection services to adult adoptees, and community adoption education.

An organization CCHA is proud to call a partner, CCHA’s Emily Schmale recently completed a three-year term as a board member of Adoptions of Indiana and still stands behind the organization’s mission.

The agency seeks to identify and meet the needs of adoptees and birth and adoptive families through compassionate and comprehensive adoption services. Their vision is that every child be in a loving and caring home, every adoptee and parent be supported and every community be educated.
