Séamus P. Boyce primarily represents clients in matters involving schools and other educational entities. In addition to his school law practice, Séamus represents the victims of identity deception and clients in intellectual property matters.
In 2011, the Indianapolis Star published an article about Séamus and distinguished him as a "Rising Star" for his work as an education lawyer. In addition, the Indianapolis Business Journal's Indiana Lawyer identified Séamus as an "Up & Coming Lawyer" for the State.
Séamus is admitted to practice law before the state and federal courts of Indiana and has briefed a case before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Séamus has served on the Board of Governors for the Indiana State Bar Association and is a member of several State Bar committees. His other professional association memberships include the American Bar Association, Education Law Association, Council of School Attorneys, Hamilton County Bar Association, and the Indiana School Boards Association. He is a frequent presenter, writer and contributor for these organizations as well as the American Association of School Administrators, Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, Lorman Education Services, National Business Institute, and the School Law Reporter.
Séamus is an alumnus of Wabash College and is on the Board of the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men. While at Wabash, he became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and Sphinx Club. He also studied abroad at the National University of Ireland. Following Wabash, Séamus attended the University of New Hampshire School of Law where he concurrently earned both a law degree and a masters in education law. He also received the award for the graduating student who best demonstrates both scholarship and leadership.
Séamus was born and raised in Indianapolis. He resides in Fishers with his wife, Erin, who is a school teacher for special needs students.
