John Davis engages in a general business practice that includes legal matters for business owners and their families. He also supports the firm's tax and utility clients. He has been practicing since 1981.
Mr. Davis is a two-degree IU graduate in Accounting and Law. He graduated from IU Bloomington in 1974 and became a CPA. He graduated from IU Law School—Indianapolis in 1981.
Prior to joining the firm, Davis was a tax partner at KPMG in Indianapolis. He then served as general counsel to the Indianapolis Water Company for ten years. He spent two and a half years as general counsel at the state's largest agency (FSSA) in the Daniels administration.
He and his wife Susie live in Noblesville, where she is the program director for Noblesville City Parks. Davis also is licensed to practice in Wyoming, where he and his wife have property outside Laramie. Davis has served on the board of the Indiana CPA Society as well as on the Utility Law Section of the Indiana Bar Association. He serves as treasurer of the Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission. He has a beagle named Abner.
