Brent’s practice consists primarily of assisting the firm’s clients with labor and employment and litigation matters. A former law clerk with the firm from 2006 to 2007, Brent’s experience also includes work as a law clerk for the Honorable Margret G. Robb of the Indiana Court of Appeals and as a City Prosecutor with the City of Indianapolis’s Office of Corporation Counsel. Prior to becoming an attorney, Brent was a paralegal with a Chicago-based law firm that specialized in handling labor and employment matters for clients on a nationwide basis, particularly in the area of employment discrimination.
Brent graduated from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review and received the Review’s “Excellence in Editing” award for 2006. Brent also participated in moot court, civil practice clinic, and served as a judicial extern for Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Brent lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Mandy, who owns a graphic design company. Brent and Mandy have three sons, Henry, Abraham and Weston. They are parishioners at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
