After a tenure as the firm's law clerk, Alexander Pinegar joined the firm as an associate in October 2006. Alex is a general practioner whose practice involves estate planning, probate, school law, and commercial and personal injury litigation. Mr. Pinegar is admitted to practice in the Indiana Supreme Court and the United States District Court for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, and the Hamilton County Bar Association.
Alex is a native of Muncie, Indiana. Growing up, he was heavily involved in the community, doing volunteer work through his church, Westminster Presbyterian, and school system. After graduating from Muncie Central High School in 1999, Alex attended Taylor University (Upland, Indiana) where he majored in Political Science, and also studied philosophy, history, music, and pre-law. After graduating from Taylor summa cum laude in 2003, Alex continued his education at Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. There he participated in Moot Court and was the recipient of the Elijah Lovejoy Award given for the best Moot Court Brief, and the George O. Dix Award, given to the graduating senior who submits the best senior paper. Alex graduated with his J.D. in May 2006 magna cum laude.
Alex is currently on the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Noblesville Main Street, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the charm and economic vibrancy of downtown Noblesville. He is also an active member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. The oldest of four brothers, Alex enjoys spending time with, and participating in the lives of, his family members. Alex lives in Noblesville, with his wife Laura Pinegar, who is the Associate Editor of Indianapolis Monthly Home magazine. Alex enjoys playing and listening to music and is an accomplished pianist. His other outside interests include baseball and basketball, reading about everything, and spending time with his wife.
